The SplatterPark team would like to thank everyone who came out this summer to participate in our big events or just get out and have fun with their friends and family in a friendly paintball contest. With colder weather closing in on us and the sun going down sooner, it's time to hang up our paintball guns for the season. The paintball park will close for the winter on Dec. 13, but don't worry, we'll be back when it starts to warm back up on March 5, 2016.
So what made this year so great? Keep reading for a recap of our 2015 season.
People flocked to our big events — Ghost Sniper in the spring and Future Soldier in the fall. The Future Solider event was serious fun with a fully realized scenario. It put players in the year 2020 where terrorism remained a concern. Members of ISIS had stolen a prototype of a high-tech exoskeleton for soldiers on the ground. For their mission, Oscar and Bravo teams had to recover the lost gear and bring it back to Fort Bragg and the Future Solider Development Center. Over six hours, players fought through various scenarios to capture the flags and bring home the big prize at the end of the day. Needless to say, it was a blast.
With Halloween approaching and "The Walking Dead" back with a new season, zombie mania was in full swing at SplatterPark. We brought back our popular Zombie Park loaded with zombie attractions, including a full-scale zombie hunt, target range facility and Terminus maze. Players immersed themselves in the zombie apocalypse by shooting zombie hordes with paintball guns, riding on the zombie attack vehicles equipped with paintball guns to help get them through to sanctuary. The park has been one of our most successful games and we appreciate everyone who has come out, and invite everyone back for more walker annihilation next year.
The Best Paintball Park in the Midwest
Don’t forget our ongoing Airsoft Open Play games. These games are short duration battles on select days during the year. We offer them as safe and controlled alternatives to playing on public grounds or in crowded backyards. These games are more casual than our other big events, and should be fun for beginners and experts alike. The remaining open dates are Nov. 22 and Dec. 6
SplatterPark is the top paintball park in Ohio, and was featured in the Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball video game. The park is open from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday between March and December for recreational play or private groups. The paintball park is a great way for groups to experience team building in a fun and exciting way, getting exercise and breathing some fresh air ... and getting a little paint on your clothes, of course. It’s suitable for age-appropriate birthdays and family gatherings or corporate outings that are a little out of the ordinary.
At some of our events, we offer gun rental, food and refreshments (included in the admission price). We offer our guests free WiFi and clean indoor restrooms for your convenience.
There's still plenty of time left to enjoy a game of paintball. Call us or register online today to get your event in before the park closes for the season.
